About Corenia Murphy

Corenia approaches therapy from a relational and strength-based perspective. She specializes in sex therapy, where individuals and couples seek to gain knowledge and improve the quality and satisfaction of intimacy. Corenia specializes in pelvic pain, chronic illness, specifically endometriosis, purity culture recovery, and trauma.

Corenia is also a Washington Approved Clinical Supervisor.

Corenia incorporates relationship-based therapies, including Emotionally-FocusedGottman-Method, and narrative therapy. Corenia has experience working with couples, individuals, adolescents, families, groups, and people of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.

Corenia earned her Masters in Counseling from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. Continuing her education through the Northwest Institute of Intimacy and The Gottman Institute. Corenia is available and trained to offer speaking engagements and workshops.

Corenia is married to her partner of sixteen years and has a young child. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family. 

Corenia is a Licensed Washington State Mental Health Therapist (# LH 60875133).
